At The Little Learning Tree , we understand that good nutrition is essential for early childhood development. Our onsite chef prepares fresh and nutritious meals every day, ensuring children get the energy they need to thrive physically and mentally. Our meals are part of the Munch & Move program, supporting our commitment to high-quality early childhood care and education.

Curriculum

Early Years Learning Framework

Our curriculum is varied and based on the Australian Government’s Early Years Learning Framework, and part of this includes the dedicated school readiness program that we operate, which is based on the NSW Government’s syllabus. Our educators with babies as young as six weeks, toddlers, and preschool children up to age five to help them develop a range of key interpersonal and social skills, as well as preparing them for the transition to ‘big school.’

We understand there’s more to good childcare than curriculum and guidelines. We strive to bring as much passion and drive to our work as possible and it’s crucial to us that your child can reach their full potential during their time at The Little Learning Tree. This is why our Daily Fee includes nappies, sheets, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late afternoon snack.  We have a cook onsite to prepare quality meals made with the freshest ingredients for all of our attending children.

Learning Resources

At The Little Learning Tree , we provide a variety of learning materials and resources to engage children in meaningful learning experiences. From books to art supplies and technology, our early childhood centre ensures that children have access to everything they need to succeed. We have regular incursions visit the centre based on the children’s interests and  regular excursions including to Queen Elizabeth Park.

Parent Engagement

At The Little Learning Tree Early Learning Centre, we prioritize open communication with parents to foster strong connections. You’ll receive regular updates through the Kinderm8 app, keeping you informed about your child’s progress and activities. Our open-door policy invites parents to visit the centre anytime, and we warmly encourage you to share your talents—whether it’s reading a story, discussing your career, or showcasing any special interests. Your involvement enriches our community and enhances the children’s learning experiences!
